To have lit a candle for our part
How easy it seemed to die in your separation, my dear
Yet it took a lifetime to finally lose life.
If the celebration of the separation hadn’t happened, then we too,
Even with chains on our feet, would have gone dancing and singing.
It was her choice, if she had regard for faithfulness or not,
You, ‘Faraz’, at least should have fulfilled your part
