Soul Connections” follows Israeli artist Amir Chodorov as he walks through the Nova Festival memorial site he created to honor the victims of the Nova massacre. To date, more than 2,500 individual signs and billboards have been created for the Nova Festival memorial, each created in Chodorov’s Tel Aviv workshop in close collaboration with the families of the victims, whose direct input shapes every piece. The land is managed by JNF–KKL (Jewish National Fund), which has given him the freedom to continue expanding the site according to his vision. The film offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the creation of one of Israel’s most visited memorial sites —and at one man’s quiet, relentless commitment to ensuring the victims are remembered not as numbers, but as names, faces, and lives.
